Chad and Bailey’s relationship was sweet. It was an okay read for me - it took me quite some time to get through since I couldn’t quite get into the simplicity of it.
Overall though it was fun.

They were just so adorable and made me smile everytime
I really liked this one. Chad and Bailey just sucked you into their story. The banter was on point in this one too!
These two are really opposites in a lot of ways. Chad is the frat kid that is a jokester, and is in college to have fun. He's completely ok being just average with his grades. Bailey comes from money and is more devoted to his grades and studying. But these two bring out the best in each other.
I absolutely loved the interactions with Bailey's family. They came across as so down to earth and they were so welcoming of Chad. I also really liked that there wasn't a lot of angst between these two. The angst was from outside sources.
The epilogue was perfect and I can't wait to read Robbie's story!

Just okay but nothing more. I wasn't convinced Bailey was really in it for a long time and after that the cuteness overload was just too much. The frat side of things felt like nothing I hadn't read before and fell flat. It also took me unreasonably long to finish.

5 "Frat as Fuck" Stars!!
[a:Saxon James|19404191|Saxon James|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1576580234p2/19404191.jpg] has quickly become one of my favorite auto-buy authors for me. I enjoyed her Just Friends series, Auggie I love you sweetie, and I LOVED her CU Hockey series with co writing partner [a:Eden Finley|15036279|Eden Finley|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1520859183p2/15036279.jpg]. I'm psyched those two are continuing their duo with a spin off NHL hockey player series.
...But Frat Wars, Frat Wars is officially my absolute favorite book by Saxon James ever! The romance between Chad and Bailey was SO MUCH FUN and their antics had me laughing throughout the entire book. It was impossible not to read this without a smile on my face. And did I mention the steam factor? Well lets just say their chemistry may have had my kindle smoking a bit.
Neither of these two were what I was expecting. I don't know why I thought Bailey was going to be more of a shy nerd, while Chad was going to be your stereotypical drunken frat brat. I mean, Chad definitely IS a a total frat brat, but he was so much more than that. He was always honest and open with Bailey. He wasn't afraid to let himself be vulnerable, and sometimes the things he said to Bailey were sweet enough to give you a toothache.
"The fun guy who's loud and drinks and plays football and wants to hook up disguises this guy who looks at me in awe and calls me the sun."
Bailey was a fun surprise. He's a far cry from the shy boy I pictured. For growing up so wealthy, he's very down to Earth. He's also pretty badass for his small frame and just a tad bit kinky. See, told you he was a fun surprise. His quick wit and banter with Chad were some of my favorite moments of the book. I also loved how he didn't let Chad get away with anything. He always called him out on his BS and it was hilarious. On the flip side, Bailey and Chad could also be pretty romantic with each other. Their relationship really was the perfect balance.
"No matter how we started, you are hands down the best decision I've ever made."
I have to say the 10 years down the road epilogue at the end was everything I could ask for. I LOVE epilogues in the distant future where we get to see the MCs still going strong. It really makes a relationship go from HFN to solid HEA for me. I can't wait for the next two books in the series. It was great meeting all the different brothers and a blast reading about the King of Thieves competition. I'm going to have to mention that one to my old college roommate who was president of her Sorority. I have some guesses for the next set of MCs. I'd put money on the two rival frat presidents as one, but I'm less sure about the other. I did think I got vibes about party planner Robbie and party pooper Brandon, but I guess time will tell!
