I devoured this. They are so healthy for each other. I'm in tears.

I LOVED that this was pure. Trusting, communication, (almost) upfront with their feelings, steamy. yes yes yes!
Also the banter!!!!

》“This punch tastes like ass,” Chad says, holding one out to me.
“Should I be offended?”
“Rephrase. Your ass tastes ten times better than this punch that tastes like … dirt.”
“Well, after that ringing endorsement, I can’t wait to get it in me.”
Chad snorts and cups my ass.
“I’ll give you something better later.”《

I was looking for a lighthearted read and Frat Wars: King of Thieves definitely delivered! It’s full of pranks, witty banter, sweet characters and competitions between two rival frats. Chad Doomsen is a Sigma (the jock frat) and Bailey Prince is a Kappa (the wealthy intellectuals) and they’re sworn enemies...but they don’t know that until after they’ve already kissed.

Chad is one of the sweetest, most endearing characters I’ve read - he’s so self-deprecating and refreshingly honest about his intelligence, strengths, finances, really everything. He’s unapologetically himself, planning pranks on the Kappas and always smiling and lighting up every room he’s in. He’s a treasure and should be treated as such...luckily Bailey finally realizes the same thing.

Bailey takes a while to open up, but he’s the new guy on campus, having transferred in for his senior year, so it comes with the territory. He’s hesitant of people wanting to use him to get to his family and doesn’t connect with the frat culture on his new campus, not fully understanding the rivalries, traditions and competitions. At times he comes off a little snobby and above the frat culture antics and that occasionally rubbed me the wrong way. But he really opened up once Chad weaseled his way into his life.

These two have an instant connection and, since it takes a while for Bailey to trust it, they become friends in the meantime. Their banter, in-person and via text messages, was on point and I couldn’t get enough. Other than them keeping their relationship a secret from their frat brothers, there wasn’t any angst between the two of them and I loved that they both encouraged each other to be better versions of themselves.

The epilogue was so perfect and set things up for more brothers to fall in love. I really enjoyed this world that Saxon James created and can’t wait to read more stories about the Sigma and Kappa brothers soon!

**I received a copy of this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.**

Frat Wars: King of Thieves is a fun, rivals to lovers story that will have you cheering for your favorites and falling in love. It’s Kappas vs. Sigmas, and readers can’t help being swept up in the action, excitement, and energy of the campus life at West Haven U. I highly recommend this book to readers who enjoy a fun college setting, strong characters and watching two guys battle their way to happily ever after.

Saxon James goes beyond classic fraternity stereotypes, delving into Greek life in a way that reflects its nuance and complexity. As someone who’s a member of a Greek letter organization, I’m normally wary of books catering to the typical partying, entitlement image of fraternities and sororities. I was pleasantly surprised to find that, although on the surface those images are presented in Frat Wars, James takes it a step further to show you what fraternity life is really like for these guys beyond the parties and pranks, so thank you for that.

There are a ton of great characters in this one - many I look forwared to getting to know better in future books - but King of Thieves centers on Chad and Bailey. Chad’s the resident Sigma prankster who likes to have a good time, and Bailey’s the new kid on the block, a Kappa transfer who’s just trying to fly under the radar. Both of these guys are absolutely fantastic; it’s hard not to get swept up in their forbidden yet undeniable connection. Chad’s a complicated guy who’s definitely much more than he appears, and I love that readers experience his introspection and self-actualization right along with him.

Bailey, on the other hand…*dreamy sigh* I hate to say it, but he’s my favorite. He’s a man with a plan: get in, get out, don’t make waves and hope no one notices him. His desire to fit in as well as his lack of preconceived notions are sweet and honestly a little refreshing. Readers get to see his vulnerability and insecurities; James does a tremendous job of making him real and genuine. His reasons for not trusting people’s intentions make me just a little sad for him, and it’s satisfying to watch him open up.

Chad and Bailey are so freakin' sweet. They are a sugar rush in a book.

I loved their playfulness and instant attraction, and how they didn't let their relationship get in the way of the friendly frat rivalry and vice versa. I loved how they tried to get one over the other to win in the competitions by distracting them with cute faces or kissing.

The Frats were hilarious. I loved having an inside look at American college life.

Definitely a favourite of mine that I'll reread over and over again!
