Omg this book was something else. I think this is my second Saxon James book that wasn’t co-written, but holy shit. Did it deliver.
The banter? Loved it.
I had butterflies, kicked my feet, and giggled through every interaction between them. I usually don’t love books with a lot of sex, but this? This was so intense. I don’t know what did it for me, but the way it was worded felt so erotically beautiful.
Chad was the definition of a man who yearns is a man who earns. I love characters who don’t let their pride get in the way of what they want, and he chased Bailey so well. Total golden retriever energy.
Also, hilarious. He might come off just a tiny bit childish, but honestly, that just added to his charm. He was such a sweetheart, and I laughed so hard with him.
And when it comes to compliments? Just become a poet already. Even in his own head, he was constantly saying the sweetest and most heart melting things about Bailey.
Bailey though, he was on a whole different level. He started off flirtatious but a little cautious, not that it lasted long. Even before fully letting his walls down, he was already such a sweetheart. And when I say flirtatious, I mean it. He knew exactly how to take control while still giving both himself and Chad exactly what they wanted. Their chemistry was insane.
I won’t lie, I struggled with the names at first, but that confusion faded quickly. And I’m so glad I stuck with it.
I’m definitely starting the next book in the series!

What do you get when you cross one fun-loving guy with a goal-oriented guy from an opposing frat? A steaming good time! Chad and Bailey proved that you can stay loyal to your friends and find love with the “enemy” at the same time. Chad embraced the fun of Greek life and all that entailed, while Bailey was focused on the next step and the one that came after. His plans had plans, but he never planned for Chad. These two were magic together, and watching them navigate their way through what could have been a minefield with grace and trust was an experience not to be missed!
