4.25 out of 5 ☆’s.

”I’m barely human, just a bundle of nerves waiting for him to set them all on fire.”

Going into this novel I wasn’t sure what to expect because I’m not the biggest fan of fraternities — no big surprise there haha — but I ended up thoroughly enjoying this sweet little story! :)

I recommend this novel for anyone that is looking for a relatively angst-free read that has (in my opinion) the prefect blend of sweet and spicy moments!

Chad is the epitome of a golden retriever character and there were so many moments throughout the novel where I just wanted to jump into the pages and give him a nice squeeze. 🥹

It took a little more time for me to warm up to Bailey (since he is a little more aloof than Chad — which is completely understandable given his background and trust issues) but by the end I was smitten with the both of them and their love for one another…

This might have been my first Saxon James novel, but it certainly won’t be my last! ♡

a delight, chad is the most frat bro to have ever broed. but he's so much fun. this book is full of frat rivalries and college shenanigans and the sweetest relationship.

i love the bromotions nights, bros sharing their emotions, is there anything more wholesome ?
and this book sets up the rest of the series nicely.

3.5 stars!
It was fun, too bad it had some nasty pet peeves of mine

Ok, wow.
Not what I was expecting.
This was so much more!!
I loved Chad from the first second. It took me a bit longer to love Bailey as well, but I do love him now.
And also I love them together.
They just fit and I adored their banter, it felt refreshing. Also, they are hot hot together.
This book completely locked me in, I couldn’t put it down.
It was easy, fresh, hot. No angst, and sometimes you need a read like this.
Not much plot honestly but that’s good enough sometimes, just to see two people fall in love without focusing on anything else.
It’s a solid 8/10 for me.
