Pure enjoyment, that is Frat Wars in a nutshell. Frat Wars is a blast from the first chapter!!! I loved this story, the characters, and the romance. Frat Wars is a great opposites-attract love story and is my favorite Saxon James story to date.

Frat Wars consists of friendly pranks and competitions between two frats. One is the "jock" frat and the other is the more "studious" one. The main characters, Chad and Bailey are both unaware when they meet that the other is part of the opposing frat house. They have instantaneous chemistry and eventually realize the others' identity after a connection has been made.

Chad, the easy-going VP of Sigma Beta Psi, is the "jock" frat. Chad is a giant ball of sunshine who enjoys pranks while always keeping a smile on his face. Bailey on the other hand is a recent transfer to Rho Kappa Tau and is a serious intellectual. Bailey is at first reluctant about his feelings for Chad but eventually relents. They both offer each other a great escape from their frat house roles while developing genuine feelings for one another.

Frat Wars is the perfect fun, comedic, and fast-moving romance that features a fantastic opposites attract relationship between Chad and Bailey. I loved seeing their relationship progress due to their inability to ignore their feelings. Frat Wars is a great start to a promising series that I cannot wait to read more from in this fun world.

i think my meh feelings towards this are a combination of my high expectations since so many mutuals were raving about this and my indifference to one of the MCs, Bailey.

King of Thieves is the first book in the Frat Wars series. It follows Simga Vice President, the football-playing Chad Doomsen, and Kappa transfer, the billionaire's son Bailey Prince. Bailey and Chad meet at a party without knowing who the other is, but when they realise they belong to rival fraternities, they try their hardest to stay away from each other.

Okay so this story is very different from my usual! It was incredibly 'frat', but I actually enjoyed it more than I thought?

I enjoyed the intrigue between the frats, and the rivalry. I also loved seeing the very progressive attitudes to sexuality from pretty much everyone in the story, including all the "macho" men.

Chad and Bailey were super cute together, almost the definition of opposites attract! Their banter and chemistry was good, especially after they fully leaned into their romance. I loved how Bailey's family just accepted Chad with open arms.

The narration was performed in dual style and was also very 'frat'. I don't think Alexander Cendese could have sounded more like I imagine someone called Chad sounds. Iggy Toma was new to me but I enjoyed his narration more.

Overall, I'm sort of begrudgingly saying I liked this one and I sort of want to read more!

Chad n Bailey

I really enjoy Saxons writing style and this story did not let me down!

Some parts I almost felt like i wanted to be a frat boy and other parts I wanted to slap them for being stupid boys LOL

This is Chad and Bailey's story and it's got family, coming out moments, friends and frenemies!!

4.5 stars This was really a lot of fun. It sure gave me a chuckle that the jock, frat boy was called Chad (IYKYK) but to be honest, he was my favourite part of this. He was a sweetheart, even if he totally played into the labels the Greek life has assigned him. Bailey was adorable too. A little bit more serious and buttoned up, but his attraction to Chad and being a transfer kinda took him out of the whole rivalry between the frats. Honestly the King Of Thieves thing was fun for the most part but it seemed a little silly in others (I just don't get Greek Life, though I've read plenty about it) but all in all I loved this. It's my first solo read by this author and I'm gonna go back and pick up some of their other work for sure. I highly recommend this and I can't wait to see what else this series has in store. I received an advance copy of this for review and my opinions in this review are my own.
