“Love makes all things beautiful.” Such a beautiful quote and it represents my soul. I never thought of a Tarzan retelling before and of course TikTok gave me the idea and the audiobook was available. So it all worked out in my favor. This was a lovely book. And there was no miscommunication trope and it was plot driven and made great points on conservation efforts and love for all things .

Enjoyed it but wanted/expected more. To me there wasn’t enough added for a retelling & I personally get more from the Disney movie lol.

I enjoyed this one. I just had a few issues that were minor, especially when it came to repetitive pov's of the H/h first meeting. It felt like a rewind to me that just didn't fit with the flow of the story, because it was only for that one time. Emma did a great job with imagery of the things that happened in Uganda, Africa. I actually felt the emotion Thorne's mother expressed to him as well. The ending is bittersweet. I look forward to reading Labyrinth retelling next!

I received this book at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

What an incredible retelling.

The books empathise on a mother’s love was amazing and really created a beautiful discussion. It had amazing description and I felt like I was really in this world with these characters.

The romance is heartwarming and it gave me butterflies. Eden and Thorne are a beautiful couple and they make me believe in love.

The friendships and family ties are beautiful. I’m loved seeing Thornes connection with other animals and how he had to adapt to survive.

This book had me feeling all the emotions and I really felt the love between the hero and heroine.

This has amazing themes such a greed, love, acceptance, friendship and more.

I also love how the author weaves real life problems into a fiction book. The planet needs our help and we all should love and care for it.
Humans are going in and killing animals for vain reasons, we are taking their habitats and destroying their homes.

Anyone know any more Tarzan Retellings?
