This was amazing. I really didn't expect to love it as much as I did. The only thing that bothered me was that it was written in a way that was kinda hard to read. But it's an adult book so it doesn't really matter that much.

This book was my first delve into sci-fi and I really enjoyed it! I love those books where in which you find yourself becoming a part of the story and for the few days you are reading it, it constantly comes up in your thoughts. I actually woke up one morning looked out my window in a groggy state and thought that my neighbor's tree was Rand al'Thor on his was to Baerlon or Caemlyn.

Min bästa kompis på högstadiet och gymnasiet hade hela den här serien i pocket o h jag minns att jag alltid stod och titta på dom när jag var hemma hos henne. En gång erbjöd hon sig att låna ut den här serien och jag hann några kapitel in (och älskade det) innan jag var tvungen att sluta på grund av att det var gör mycket att plugga till (frågar mig fortfarande varför i helvete jag valde att läsa naturvetenskapliga linjen, kunde jag gå tillbaka skulle jag välja någon annan linje som jag skulle tyckt om).

Nu är jag här och när jag såg att någon sålde 20 av böckerna inbundna för endast 500kr kunde jag inte låta bli. Samma dag som jag hämtade böckerna satte jag mig när och läste första boken. Första boken är förresten första halvan på [b:The Eye of the World|228665|The Eye of the World (The Wheel of Time, #1)|Robert Jordan|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1337818095l/228665._SY75_.jpg|2008238]. Böckerna är otroliga tjocka på engelska och i översättningen har man valt att dela upp böckerna i två istället för att ge ut tegelstenar.

Det märks att det bara är första halva av boken då det kändes som världsuppbyggnad efter världsuppbyggnad efter världsuppbyggnad och introduktioner av karaktärer och inte mycket mer än det. Om jag inte skulle köpt böckerna eller vetat att Wheel of Times ska bli tv-serie vet jag i ärlighetens namn inte om jag skulle fortsätta med serien då jag tyckte den var långtråkig.

Une lecture très sympathique mais l'histoire de ce premier tome est un peu trop redondante à mon goût. Le début est très prenant, on a envie d'en savoir plus, mais au final, la suite ne nous apprend pas grand chose de la mythologie de ce monde fantastique et le schéma fuite-repos-attaque, fuite-repos-attaque devient assez vite lassant. Je continuerai mais j'espère que le tome d'après sera plus convainquant, d'autant plus qu'aucun des personnages n'a encore de backstory et qu'il est donc assez difficile de s'y attacher.
