Once the line as been crossed there is no going back.
And that’s exactly what Zander and Ella have done.
The infatuation, the pull, the lust can’t be denied with them.
Their new roles and dynamics in their relationship helps Ella so much more than her therapy ever did.
But their pasts are still lingering and persistent blurring the present.
Their relationship is now more intricate and intense.
Many facets and complexities are involved.
And it’s written perfectly to highlight them.
A lot of questions are answered in Hold Me.
With more to come.

WHOA!

If you read the first book in this trilogy, keep going! As a romance reader, I thoroughly enjoy the spice, and while this book is equal parts plot and spice; I was more consumed by the plot. Don’t get me wrong, the spice was great, and the authors did a great job developing this story; however, the plot and the way it’s written captures you.

As you dive deeper into the forbidden relationship of Zander and Ella, you go on a whirlwind of emotions, and even laughter. Finding out what happened in Ellas past that required the need for protection, along side of Zanders secret into his past. Kam, Ella’s conservator, seems to have a tone of deception in this book, making one feel like he has a dark secret of his own; one that he wants no one to find out. does he really have Ella’s best interest at heart or is he being selfish?

Hold me, answers most of the questions you are left with from the first book and leaves you with equally the same at the end of this one. I am hopeful that they are answered in the last book. You also start to see a hint of gossip girl vibes that willow mentions.

Now onto the third book, Love me, which completes the ‘Love the way’ series.

TW: there is mention of suicide in this trilogy, so please be advised

⭐️3.75 STARS ⭐️
This book picks up where the first ended.
It’s now been switched from a duet to a trilogy. I’m conflicted about that.
This does have a faster pace than the first book, that’s a big plus.
Some secrets/mysteries come clearer through the “therapy” sessions.
There’s still a lot of unanswered questions, I still feel like I’m in the dark, I want to know what’s happened and what is going on!
It’s an incredibly unconventional relationship between the main characters.
The kinky nature (BDSM )adds to the spice of the taboo nature of their relationship.
Plus Zander is in a role of protector.. from what is still murky waters.
It seems to me it could go really wrong or it could be an incredibly unconventional way to help someone.
It’s an unusual story, I like the taboo nature of it.
I like the mood and vibe. The mystery.
Looking forward to finding out the answers and seeing how this all pans out!

This book picked right up where the last book left off. It absolutely made me fall even deeper in love with Ella and Zander. Ella is in such a vulnerable place throughout this book and Zander is absolutely her lifeline. This book truly delves into the BDSM relationship and I feel like I learned a whole lot throughout this book. This book also shows the past that keeps each of these characters in a chokehold. The third book is already downloaded and ready for me to dive into!

I received a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review.

“I've felt how Ella has come alive in my hands, and I'll be damned if I let her go back to that desperate shell of a woman.”

Let me just say I was not expecting this one to be even better than the first. The second installment to this series dives deep into the consequences and aftermath of the decisions Ella and Zander made in book one. It was very interesting to see how they both try to heal from their pasts and make sense of the new situation they have found themselves in. Similar to the first, this one leaves you on a cliff hanger dying for more and is written in a way that is so frustratingly good it has you rooting for their happy ending while also hating that their story is coming to an end.

This picks up where book 1 left off and Ella and Zander are being kept apart. There are hidden stories behind both that cause so much drama in their own lives. This leads to problems and misunderstandings in their relationship. So much is happening but the chemistry is off the charts! I have been waiting for a while to get my hands on this book and I was not disappointed at all.

This book does exactly what it’s supposed to do as the second book of a trilogy. Amelia and Willow are magic when they write. This is not an easy, Sunday at the park kind of read, this is an emotionally charged dark story that will suck you into their dark.

This book picks up right where book one leaves off and takes off running. You will be transported back into the Zander and Ella’s world. This book is not for the weak, the heat in this one is off the charts.

It is book 2, so there is a cliffhanger of sorts, I am really looking forward to how this all ends. So if you like the dark side of romance run don’t walk to get this series!
