This book completely took me by surprise, made me fall in love, ripped my heart to shreds, began to rebuild my shattered pieces, only to destroy me, and made me love it even more!

It’s so hard to describe because it is one of the most complex and entertaining books I’ve ever read. It’s magically layered. The author does a marvelous job of creating living, breathing characters that I feel like I know them and we are friends.

Eliza and Paul! Oh I love them! They are neurotic, emotionally driven, idealistic dreamers in the best sort of way! Yet you cannot live that way and not be crazy! But two crazy people in love is magical!

Paul ‘GD’ Hudson...the Fire and Passion in this man could melt the heart of every girl he meets😉

Then there is Loring. *sigh* Loring would me mine! No question!hahaha❤️❤️❤️

This book is orgasmic. It's that good!!! The joy I feel when I discover a really good book is off the charts BLISS. And that's how I feel right now. I feel like I just had the most magnificent, earth shattering, world rocking orgasm. I'd make a long review but I suck at that. And I'm not as passionate enough over book reviews as Paul Hudson is over music and integrity. AAAAAAAAH. But this book made me cry, both sad and happy tears. I'm so happy I jumped from my seat to the floor and danced silly with a smile up to my ears. Or my butt. I was pretty sure I'd explode!!!

Thank you to the wonderful author, Tiffanie Debartolo, for this amaaaaaazing book!! The ride's worth the emotions :)

ps: Paul Hudson is, by far, the most REAL (for lack of a better term) book character I have ever encountered. Thank god for old souls.

Gorgeous writing.
Loved Paul, though he was nuts. ;)
Loved Loring.
Liked Eliza, but at times she infuriated me and came off as...clueless and cruel.

Liked the ending, ultimately, and really liked the book.

Oh god, I loved this and didn't want it to end. It was funny, at times had me emotional, and I felt really connected to the characters - who were awesome, by the way. It was also quite an interesting insight into the music industry. It's definitely the kind of book I'll reread!

This was such a unique story. I loved the writing, it’s clever and beautiful.
The character’s paths were interesting, insightful and entertaining.
It hit me hard in the emotions a few times. So worth it!
I loved everything about it.
So hard to describe, the “it” factor is strong with this book!

It makes me wish I had a sordid past with a rocker boy. The lyrics written in the book are beautiful and the emotions are running high with the characters. The female protagonist is both loved and hated at the same time, but similiar things can be said about her musician boyfriend. If you like Janet Fitch, DeBartolo is right up there with the use of language.

5 Brilliant Stars.
This is not my typical read. I admit I have been reading sleazy, sappy, new adult romances. But lately nothing has moved me. I've been in a book fog. My imagination has lost some of it's luster. Until now. This book is literary genius. The word flow is like honey; sticky, sweet, raw goodness. The characters are written so thoroughly that I felt I could see their souls. Deep and profound, this book is a treasure. I refuse to give away spoilers therefore I am cutting my review short.

This book had so much potential and I really, really wanted to like it. So many glowing recommendations from readers and bloggers I trust! This one just wasn’t for me. Rather than coming across as passionate and artsy and edgy, these characters seemed like whiney, pretentious posers. And the hero was not to my taste physically - scrawny, dirty - just no. Maybe in High School.
