So this is one that I think you can't get the full effect of as a library book. It has a poster and a book of correspondence and within the book of letters are perforated letters of the alphabet which match the poster. As it is a Snicket book, I assume the letters are an interactive thing that lead to another clue. Overall, the correspondence was interesting and revealed some things I hadn't known for sure before but, of course, also brought up way more questions.

"I will love you until your face is fogged by distant memory. I will love you no matter where you go and who you see, I will love you if you don't marry me. I will love you if you marry someone else--and i will love you if you never marry at all, and spend your years wishing you had married me after all. That is how I will love you even as the world goes on its wicked way."
This book finally gave me closure on some of the questions I had after reading A Series of Unfortunate Events #1-#13. While not all questions are answered, and some are added, this book made me feel the story was over (All the Wrong Questions seems to be only in the same universe), and that it was a journey worth taking; not all questions need to be answered

Wow, everything about this was amazing. i crave more!
Letters from Beatrice and letters to Beatrice and the letters of Beatrice all combine to create an odd, forked, enigmatic story of a lifetime of unrequited love and a strange series of missed connections. Very clever. Centerpiece is a prolonged and impassioned and very Snickety declaration of feeling. Whether it's worth the price - for a very handsomely designed book - I don't know. When it came out it was a sort of preview to The End, now it's a coda, albeit a worrying one. I suppose some sort of reassurance would have been too much to ask for, all things considered.
