I thought this was a beautiful simple story. I just lost my grandmother the other week so watching my mom go through the grieving process has been a journey in itself.

Loved this read - time travel, but grounded in the poignant observations gleaned everyday living. Multigenerational novels continue to be my favorite genre ✨

I did not enjoy this much. I didn't care about the beginning, middle, or end.

“Any story could be a comedy or a tragedy, depending on where you ended it. That was the magic, how the same story could be told an infinite number of ways.”

Plot … had so much more potential

So, I loved this but I also didn’t love this at the same time. I’m very conflicted. The potential was there, but the ending fell very flat for me. I just felt like I kept wanting more. Objectively, the ending was fine, but the time jumps became too much for me and some parts gave me the ick.

What I loved,
- the characters and the relationships between the main character and her dad & her best friend
