For once, a blurb (the most frightening book you'll ever read) was pretty accurate. I stayed up too late last night because I had to finish this. NOT recommended for parents of young children, especially boys. Disturbing sexual content, as well as violence. This was a continuation from Birdman, with some of the same characters and some development in their relationship.

I've just started the 4th of the series, but I've read them out of order so I'm trying to remember how the 3rd started (post The Treatment and pre Skin)...

fast paced and entertaining. if you have a kid though, this is not for you- pretty brutal.
