Another five-star read from this author. I'm impressed. Even if it did take a few small liberties with history, it was worth it for the flow of the story and is still educational for the average reader that doesn't have a medical background. That this book came out only a year before the Covid-19 pandemic struck was certainly apt timing, though. History likes to gloss over the fact that we have a once-a-century pandemic that rocks the boat. This was ours, and that was theirs. Virginia and Marco's story was well worth reading.

Fascinating history Lesson

Book that takes place in Philadelphia? Yes, please.

Historical fiction? Ummmm, maybe?

Really well done book that takes you back to the 1918 Spanish influenza outbreak. Written in a way that teaches you the history while imbedding you into the character’s lives.

I would recommend to anyone that likes a bit of an education along with their storytelling.
