My favorite Colleen Hoover book BY FAR!!! I think this style suits her sooooo much better than the romance novels I’ve read of hers. I flew through this book, and I was so immersed in it that I was actually starting to feel scared lol. I loved the transitions of what was going on in the house and switching to Verity’s manuscript. It was so dark, and I wanted to just keep reading and reading to see what other sick things Lowen would discover. I loved this twisted take on a thriller book. The ending truly left me questioning what was true and what wasn’t. A really good plot twist, even though I was sort of anticipating something to take a turn like that at the end. I just can’t emphasize enough though how much more enjoyable this book was for me compared to Ugly Love 😅 I’d love to see Colleen Hoover write more books in this style 🙏🏼

So dark. So twisty. Omg.

Postpartum psychosis or just psychosis?! Who's to know. There was a lot to unpack in this and much of it was difficult to read as a mom myself. Even so, I couldn't put this down.

This is the first CoHo book that I've read and actually really enjoyed. (Is enjoyed the right word when it comes to something this dark and twisty?) The romances in her other books seemed to give me "the ick" but this relationship was fine. Full of cringe moments but still fine.

The letter from Verity in the floor boards... is it the real truth or is the manuscript the real truth?

This book was creepy as hell, I was expecting a romance with maybe a bit of sadness but this was crazy town.
I do not know how Low could put down the manuscript, I wanted to skip chapters so I could finish the whole damn manuscript in one sitting. I know people are debating whether she was the villain or not, but tbh Jeremy seemed more crazy especially if you read the bonus chapter. And do not get me started on Lowen, girl you are unstable if you are competing with a dead chick. Run your husband is a psychopath!

Triggers were too much, too dark for me.

No existe.

;)
