Oh my god

First of all, this book NEEDS to have trigger warnings, for example, murder, child endangerment, graphic violence, Sexual Content, psychological and emotional distress - like at a minimum im sure there could be more.

Ignoring this, though, I couldn't put this book down. I feel like people either love or hate Colleen hoover books, and I really get along well with the writing style. The content can sometimes be questionable, but it makes for interesting annotations!

The ending of the book fully had me questioning everything. I just had to sit there, and I stared into space for a few minutes to try and process everything.

I loved it. I really, truly enjoyed this book, even if it was a little disturbing.

Just please look up the trigger warnings on Google. People have posted some on reddit.

First and most likely the last CoHo book for me.

What I didn't like

• Too much sex for a thriller book

        - I'm taking a break from smutty books so I've been reading thrillers for now. It was just really off-putting for me because sex scenes always come up that it ruined the experience for me. Oh well, what did I expect from a CoHo book.

• Ending felt rushed

       - It was just getting good and then that was it?
       - The additional chapter "The Letter" just made it worse for me. It made the whole ending more confusing that it has to be. Yeah open ending but for what? Will it be in my head rent-free? Yes but not as a compliment.

The ending feels very unresolved. I have more questions than answers. Was a quick and easy read just feels like something is missing. Would have enjoyed more thrills and less intimidate scenes in detail.
