Psychological thriller/drama/erotica. 

This book made me thoroughly enjoy being uncomfortable. There’s so many dark elements to it but the overall plot is fascinating and leaves you unsure what will happen at any given moment. 

It’s one of those books where you’re not sure if you can trust hard facts and then proves you right at the end.

Lots of sex that’s written in an excruciatingly uncomfortable but somehow still sexy way. 

It also falls into a weird category of I-don’t-like-the-main-character-but-I’m-still-routing-for-her, even though usually I can’t stand books like that. 

Honestly, I think it’s my favourite Colleen Hoover book so far. I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s better, but the horror undertones and overall uneasy plot appeals to the horror movie fan in me massively.

I have never hated a set of characters so completely. And that ending made me internally scream. I'm not okay.

the plot twist at the end was INSANE i was totally not expecting it.

the book was an easy read. Had a lot of emotional parts so definitely take heed of the disclaimers and trigger warnings before reading. It definitely is one of my favorites of Collen Hoover's. The characters and interesting and I enjoyed the way the story unfolded. This book was hard to put down !

I want to give it a 5 but something is stopping me and I don't know what. I don't know if it's the tense story stuff or a fault in a character or two. But overall I did love it if it wasn't for real life distractions I would have easily read in a day. 
Please read the warnings though. It's intense. I'm shocked how this went. Overall another great read from colleen hoover.
