I haven’t read any of Colleen Hoover books before, but I knew most of them were romance books. So that was exactly what I was expecting. Until she pulled out the Thriller card. I can not put into words how I felt while reading this book.

I honestly was convinced Verity was a manipulative piece of person, but when the unforseeable, unexpected and unthinkable plot-twist found it’s way into the book, I was shook. In utter and complete shock. Now I don’t know what to believe.

This book will stay on my mind for a extremely long time and I will definitely have to think about it.

Why minus .25 stars you might ask? It’s just the open ending with a question is not my favorite. Sure, it’s a clear authors choice, but do I like it?

WHAT THE HELL

Okay so I have so many mixed feelings about this book. And the characters are so complex and you don’t know what’s the truth and what’s not so I hate Verity but pity her at the same time. Same with Jeremy, and Lowen. Though I really feel bad for Crew.

But basically this book is about an aspiring author who starts co writing the famous author Verity Crawford’s books because she cannot finish them due to her injury. She moves in for a little while to go through all of her notes and finds a manuscript/autobiography. The manuscript is full of ugly truths, and I honestly can’t say much because almost everything is a spoiler. But the book was plot twist after plot twist, and I really recommend. Though if you are going to read it please look up TW’s.
