kept me hooked from the beginning. i loved the switching povs from lowen and verity. so many twists and turns yet i did not expect the ending.

Excessively violent and a lack of character development. Characters do bad things just because it’s shocking to the reader. I believe the premise was interesting but it lacked a strong execution.
