This was really all about right place, right time. It definitely felt a little derivative, and there was some unresolved fatphobia, for which I docked a half star, but it was seriously just what I needed. A warm and cozy hug of a book.
Graphic: Infidelity, Fatphobia, and Body shaming
Moderate: Eating disorder, Blood, and Toxic relationship
Minor: Death of parent

I really liked this book! It’s a cute bookish no-steam romance with a side of being yourself. I really loved Savannah’s gumption and determination to follow her dreams, and the You’ve Got Mail vibes of falling for a secret man! Will was a dream boat of a boss and man. This book is perfect for fans of The Hating Games’ workplace romance, small publishing house setting, and overall bookish love story.
