I liked this book. I enjoyed the plot and it gives hallmark movie vibes ( I love Hallmark Movies periodically).
I also enjoyed bits and pieces about how nothing but literary masterpieces were published by Pennington Publishing.
A solid four star in my opinion, it did it’s job i enjoyed it and it makes me want to read more of the author

This was very sweet and had a wonderful premise. If you're looking for something steamy or diverse, this is neither. I liked the personalities of the characters.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an advanced review copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

This was a cute, closed-door romance set in the world of a small publisher. The environment of the publishing house was really interesting to me and I wish the story focused more on that aspect than the really random and unnecessary aspect of fatphobia and body shaming that the two sisters focused on throughout the "fitness" challenge. The family toxicity also really threw me off and they all really need a lot of therapy.

The romance was paced well, even though the male MC did feel a little stalky in the beginning, always showing up where she was and popping in to take her places, even though he's her boss.

Clean romance based in the publishing industry .
Story is about a girl secretly writing a romance book but her publisher doesn’t believe in that type of publishing so she does it on the sly.

This is the first book I have read by this author and I enjoyed it. I like the banter between the characters and how they became closer as the book progressed as they did not know who the other person was as it was done in secret.
There were a few unexpected plot twists and growth in how close the sisters became due to events that happened in the story .
There is no steam or spice in the book but it does end on a happy ever after

If you enjoy books about books like Emily Henry’s Beach Read or Book Lovers, this is another one to add to your TBR.

Cute, cozy, endearing, bookish.
Enjoyable read for what it is- rom com, knight in shining armor. I liked the characters, but I think they all could’ve used more development, especially Will.
