I finished Unwind recently, and I'd consider myself one of the lucky ones who doesn't have to wait in agony for the next book to be released because they're all available already! (Thanks, Neal!)
I loved this book. Prior to popular belief, I thought it was a more engaging read than Unwind. There are so many layers of conflict in this novel (and yet, still just one incredible overarching conflict which seems to be the only one that really matters) that I had a very difficult time putting the book down. Of course, I didn't love all of the characters. Starkey was deplorable, but he was meant to be. Trace and Cam were two additions I really liked, and their general likeability despite essentially being antagonists to Risa and Connor (and really all of the Whollies, I suppose) made them that much more enjoyable. I wouldn't consider the end predictable at all, which I guess is how it differs a bit from Unwind for me. While I liked Unwind, I LOVED Unwholly. And I'm so excited to pick up UnSouled soon.

Not as good as [b:Unwind|764347|Unwind (Unwind, #1)|Neal Shusterman|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1297677706s/764347.jpg|750423] but still thrilling enough to earn a 5-star rating.

4.5/5 stars - I wonder... could the Scythe world be the Unwind world in the very distant future? It seems like this society could eventually heal its woes, cure death, and in a few generations, morph into the world we see in Scythe. Just a thought....
