Sickly Sweet, each with a very capital S. If Bellingwood was a movie it would be straight to TV, on Channel 5 in the afternoon on a weekday. That's how cheesy this series is but I love it none the less!
This book was a more interesting one than the last for me. Kidnapping, a secret speakeasy and a murder which actually goes unresolved for once! The sheriff of Bellingwood has the best arrest rate in the whole of America usually.
Again, it really doesn't deserve 3 stars for its plot, characters, writing style or scene setting at all but it gets them for the heart warming enjoyment!
