I started off loving it and I wanted to love it but it wasn't what I thought it would be. I started liking it again by the end but by then I'd lost the plot and wasn't feeling it anymore. I felt like I should have liked it more than I did. Instead I just struggled.

If I were smart enough to understand this surreal book, I have the feeling I would be terrified. It does feel like the events in the book are currently happening, though.
