[this applies to series] Sigh. I really, really wanted some BBW romances to sweep me off my feet, and these just kind of nudged me a little. I borrowed both books because I like reading in order and it was the second story that I really wanted to read. But at the end, I was just kind of meh. These two would have rated so much higher IF the major action isn’t dependent on the heroines making some major TSTL choices when it comes to their welfare. Also, when characters are making that choice, I need to buy into their reason for doing it, so at least I’ll understand why they’re making some really dumb decisions, even if I don’t agree with them. But if you love the damsel in distress trope with a side of billionaire lovin’, you may enjoy more than I did.
