First off can we talk about this cover?? It's absolutely STUNNING! I was already tempted to pick it up solely based on that and then I found out it's written by a local author and that was it! Overall, this book was a good time! I love that the main characters are bisexual and that it dealt with different kinds of grief and anxiety.
I would've rated it higher but the breakup scene where Jesse decides he can't be with her all of a sudden felt too plot device-y
. All in all, if you're looking for a romance with good smut that also dives into some deeper themes then I recommend this one! #IndigoEmployee

I loved the book and loved every representation in it.
Jesse and Eloise (I simply refuse to call her LuLu) are both very complicated yet simple they want to find their people and their friends while navigating adulthood and trauma on Jesse's part.
It's a beautiful book.

I really enjoyed this!! It was a beautifully written romance about self-identity and healing. It dealt with a lot of heavy themes (HUGE content warning for caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s/dementia), so be mindful of that before picking this up. I absolutely loved the writing, and will definitely pick up more Ruby Barrett books in the future.
