That's it? WTHeck. That wasn't an ending!

I am DETERMINED to find a romance that gets 4+ stars. But mmm...this was ok.
While I enjoyed Cayman’s wit(we share the same brand of dry humor) she didn’t seem to be someone who was analytical or good at making informed decisions. Which would be a trait of someone who loves science, right?
Xander was kind of bland. The only traits I can remember about him are physical.
The plot was not the best. There were a lot of elements and it felt pretty messy. The emphasis on the doll store and Cayman’s internal dialogue took up a lot of the story when it could have been used elsewhere. The romantic relationship took a back burner which would be fine if the mother/daughter relationship was at the forefront but really this was a poorly executed story about the disparity of social classes.

This is my second experience with a Kasie West book and while they’ve both been easy to get through and relatively entertaining, I find myself forgetting them almost immediately.

The characters were cute and the banter adorable making it a worthwhile read but the conflict was so stupid and the love triangle so trivial that it was more annoying than interesting.

I didn’t want to put this down, even though it was predictable.

I loved Caymen's sense of humor.

This book feels unfinished? There's so much left unanswered that this book spends its entirety talking about it. I just feel like the author had more to say, but never got around to it? I loved the main character, though. She was witty and sarcastic and didn't take anyones shit.

I think I am getting too old for Kasie West books.

Giving it 3/5.

I like the book, it is just that it has a common story we often read and see in dramas but i still enjoyed it.

I really like the characters here. Especially Caymen, her sarcasm brings laughter in the story, Kudos to the author.

A very light read indeed! Recommend it to readers who like light romance and highschool romance.

four freaking stars. okay, wasn't expecting myself to actually like this. honestly ive been thinking of that from every book ive read this week. but holy shit did i love this book. it was make in 2013, and its a poor girl rich guy book, so the bar was pretty low. but... color me impressed (that was so gross why did i say that). i expected messy buns, misogyny, and one direction cameos, not giggles and laughing OUT LOUD.

don't let the wattpad cover fool you.. this books actually worth ur time. i loved xander, he was so cute, and i actually ranted about this book mid-reading to my mom and little sister (granted they count give less of a shit). and caymen????? i feel in love. she was so funny i think she's one of my favorite heroines ive read this year. idk her dry humor matches mine so bad, i read some of the book to my little sister and she was like "nicole you've literally done that exact thing i hate u" and i was like... yeah....

anyways, yeah this book was actually way cuter than i thought, plus it was a fast read. im gonna read the second one, since that was the one that my friend actually told me to read.
