Well, he’s done it again! Yet another fantastic book by Cavanagh.

Such a clever concept, just like his previous books. It’s fast-paced and full of twists along with clever reveals.

I knew that everything wouldn’t be as it seems, I just did not guess the second part of the twist!

If you’re looking for a thriller that keeps you on your toes, this is the one for you.

The serial killer known as the Sandman has been identified as Daniel Miller - now on the run after murdering fourteen people.  His wife Carrie has been arrested and is about to stand trial as his accomplice.  Everyone is convinced she knew about her husbands crimes but now Eddie Flynn has to prove to them all that Carrie is just another victim of the Sandman.  As she stand trial the Sandman returns, killing witnesses in the hope to get his wife an aquittal...

This book is one massive twist after the other!  With characters returning and new characters being introduced you were gripped to every page waiting to find out more about them and then obviously desperate to know how the court case ends - will Carrie be convicted?!

I love the Eddie Flynn series - no one can argue that these books are electric!  I cannot recommend these books to every one who loves a crime thriller as Steve Cavanagh is up there as one of the best I've ever read!
