Wow. What a cliff hanger. I will always love this series and the twist and drama it puts on the classic stories that we grew up. Alex and Conner are really coming into there own as they once again try to save fairy tale world from their evil uncle who is bent on destroying it.

This is the fourth book in the Land of Stories Series. The Masked Man has hatched a plot to gather an army from the villains of famous literature books. Conner and Alex find themselves running the Nottingham Forest, yellow brick road and flying through Neverland in order to try to put a stop to him.

This is such a fun series. I can't recommend them enough especially the audiobooks in which Chris Colfer does all the narrations.

This book has solidified The Masked Man in being the overall series villain. Connor and Alex are racing against him in order to rescue the kingdom. We get to see the twins work independently from one another. Alex and Connor are separated as they are trapped into two different books and they must use their own magic to try to reunite.

We are introduced to so many new characters and say goodbye to another. This was another fun and charming installment into this much beloved series.

I give this book a B.
