I absolutely loved this book! It has fantastic characters, a fast-moving plot, steam, and humor. Give me all the unhinged and all-in MMCs, and I will be the happiest of readers.
Jillian has been teasing Ranger for several months now, and here, we get to know him intimately. If you thought he was compelling as a secondary character in The Assurance Security Duet and Queen of Spades, you will be blown away by his POV chapters. Ranger in love is my favorite type of Alpha.
This is a fast burn and spicy why choose romance with all the OV goodies (scents, heats, slick, knots, bonding, and group play).
This book may be read as a complete standalone, but I would recommend reading The Assurance Security Duet (Vale’s story) and Queen of Spades (Annika’s story) first. Laken and her pack get their HEA here.

Complete & Utter Perfect Chaos
Y’all just have no idea how happy I was to finally get my hands on Ranger’s book. Literally so much about him makes more sense now, and if anything, I love him even more. He actually gave me major Sheldon (from the Big Bang Theory) vibes, just on more of a bloodthirsty level 😬😈😂 I can’t tell you why I’m drawn to his psychotic a$$, but it just works for him. Of course, then Laken, our FMC, has to go & attract another crazy alpha’s intense focus, but Locke’s is definitely on a different level of crazy than Ranger. Crazily enough, they actually worked really well together somehow lol. I think a lot of that was because of the addition of Tanner & his easy going, roll-with-it vibes that helped round out so many of their rough edges (not to say he wasn’t skilled & dangerous, but he was definitely mostly just a cinnamon roll, 😉😈).
Even though I read Queen of Spades (QOS), it was still nice to get a little extra backstory on Laken leading up the events in QOS. Then the way Jillian connected Laken’s life with the mess going on in Ranger’s world, as well as the fall out from everything with his sister & her sister. It was the perfect flow to the storyline, and also helped it read as a stand-alone without having to read QOS first.
It was wonderful to see the mental health representation in this story. Watching Laken struggle with ADHD & OCD, as well as her anxiety, just added another level of emotion to the story that gave our alphas a chance to showcase their care & comfort sides, and I think it truly helped her to handle & deal with Ranger’s issues also. I also enjoyed the fact that Laken wasn’t as timid as I originally assumed after reading QOS, although there were a few hints to the contrary in that book lol. I think she was the perfect omega for our unlikely pack of alphas.
It was crazy to me that Ranger & Laken’s 1st time could be so entertaining, but you’ll understand when you get to it 😉 For the most part though, we simply got some good & dirty spice between Laken & her sexy AF alphas…Locke was especially 🔥👀😝
Basically, Jillian did it again! I’m actually really enjoying these slightly darker stories from her, because the humor & romance is just balanced so perfectly with the darker elements. Jillian has done a fabulous job at giving us the perfect marshmallowy psychotic alphas that we didn’t know we needed lol. I can’t wait for the final book in this series, and see what kind of craziness Maverick & Gunnar can get themselves into ❤️

Ranger’s story was much anticipated after meeting him in previous books, and it did not disappoint. Laken is perfect for him and brings other compatible alphas into the pack. There’s lots of spice and a little bit of angst. Loved it and this series!

Okay, we all know Jillian West writes ✨️incredible✨️ books, but All In?? Absolutely steals the show. I had every emotion possible reading this, and when I tell you I went feral.
Ranger. My sweet, sweet angel. Yeah, he may be a psychopath but he's a mushy psycopath that loves his omega and will do anything to make her happy. And let's be honest, Laken is just a liiiitle bit of a mess, so she needs sweet and logical Ranger. I love so much that he starts to grow as a person by being with her and the pack. His inner monologue, though? Top tier unbeatable he's so freaking funny. He is absolutely manipulative af but he's totally up front about it, and Laken finds it romantic, so who are we to judge.
Tanner is the literal definition of a golden retriever boyfriend. He's just the happy go lucky guy that will be there for you no matter what but probably isn't great in a shoot out but you love him anyway because that's what Ranger and Locke are for. Locke is your burn the world down for you guy. He will do absolutely anything to keep his pack safe 🥹. The more you learn about him through the book, the more you're going to giggle and kick your feet because, yeah, he's probably a psycopath too, but he's dreamy.
Laken is just perfect. She's stubborn and sweet and doesn't put up with ANY of Ranger's crap which he definitely needs in his life. She also, as mentioned above, is a bit of a train wreck but each of her guys mellows out a different part of her. They complement each other so well you can't help but gush for them. If you can't tell Ranger may be my favorite.
This was so freaking good. I absolutely flew through the book and was a bit devastated when it was over. It was so fast paced without being rushed that you were on the edge of your seat the entire time. Stuff just kept happening and you absolutely had to know what happened next because?? How could you not?? My only complaint is I want more 😭

Ranger oh Ranger how I love thee. You crazy neurodivergent psychotic hunk of a man. How could anyone or anything possibly compare? Ahem, my apologies. I started writing my review of ‘All In’ the newest addition to the Assurance Security series by Jillian West and I must have Ranger on the brain 😁.
All In follows everyone’s favorite neurodivergent psycho, a familiar beefcake golden retriever and one sexy AF psycho pierced Alpha and their semi reluctant omega Laken (who’s tied to one crazy a** roommate from a previous book). To say this book was incredible is an understatement. I loved every second of it. I never knew the word basement could get all the lady parts going, but yet here we are 🤭. Jillian is a master at writing OV and while this one is a bit more on the torture side of things it works so well for this cast of alphas. The spice was off the charts in this book for me and chapter 18 is a chapter I’ve wanted an author to desperately write since I started reading four years ago. I loved everything about it. The growth Ranger experiences is a great testament to Jillian’s writing ability. I honestly thought he’d end up as a pack of one, but he’s able to build a pack and a life with Tanner, Locke and Laken. Tanner and Locke are a great addition to Ranger’s life, as they each bring unique, but yet similar qualities that Ranger not only tolerates, but sees in himself. I can’t even gush enough about our omega Laken. I’ll put it simply that she was made to handle the craziness that is Ranger.
I could write pages upon pages, as to why you should give this book a try, but I’ll just say this, if you’re a huge fan of golden retrievers, psychotic MMC’s and basements this book is for you. Give it a try, I promise you won’t be disappointed 😉.
