Oh this book is so good. One of the best in the series, I think. It made me laugh and cry and cry some more. I was crying in public listening to the audiobook!

Beeter review to come hopefully sometime idk

Idk how this book manages to balance the light hearted and the more serious so well. I loved the aging up of the characters, as we got to see how they changed (and also stayed the same). It was cool to see Batty older as well, since as she was like 6 before it was hard to determine her personality. I think it was clever how something that has been brought up a lot in the series
the death of the mother of the first four penderwick sisters
and is explored more in depth. I will say, I find it weird how Mr. Penderwick didn't tell Skype the TrUtH abt the spoiler up above.
