Okay this arc ended up being better than I thought by the end, mostly because of Helios—though he’s old af at least he’s not Chibi-Usa’s dad. Wow. The bar’s gotten pretty low.

I like that we get a glimpse of her future scouts at the end, and it’s nice to see Mamoru’s special power defined, revealed, and used in this volume! Though as smitten as I am with him—ARTEMIS! Talk about a game changer—I’d forgotten that the cats have human forms and dang. Artemis is my type. For anyone wondering.

Anyway I can’t wait to see Usagi and the scouts power up even more than they already have. And I noticed that slight SLEEPING BEAUTY reference with the snubbed Dark Moon queen and everything, a nice touch.

Another wonderful volume of Sailor Moon. So sad it is almost finished. :(

Re-read 2020. I have to say that this really felt like the ending. This is how it just could have ended and I would have been happy. It was a perfect ending. But we all know that it will continue, we still got one part left before it all ends (or well, there will probably be more trouble but we won’t see that). We get a ton of insight in past lives of our characters. I really loved it, though it also made me sad. I am glad it was added and the learn more about how the worlds all worked. How Helios is connected to Mamo and to Usagi, how all three worlds form one.
This one also marks the power up for Usagi (who powers up faster than people in Dragon Ball do) to Eternal Sailor Moon. I would have loved to see that in colour as I remember in the anime it was a gorgeous transformation and full of colour.
It also marks the end of the Dead Moon Circus arc which really ends with a bang.
Chibi-Usa also get an extra something special and I was delighted that she did. She has really grown and I definitely like her better here than I did in the beginning. I am also so shipping her with Helios and I hope in the future they can be together. Plus, she now has her own sailor guardians, which isn’t a spoiler, we all know she would get someone eventually. She needs a team of her own.

No hace nada distinto.

It was so great to dive back into this world full of magical girls and superpowers and girls fighting for the people on earth.

I especially liked the following about this volume:
- Helios and Elysion
- Eternal Sailor Moon
- the little love story between Chibiusa and Helios

I am now eager to read the last two volumes to finally finish this manga series that I've been loving since I was seven years old.

This was a good volume! The end of the arc had a bit too much similarity to Beauty and the Beast for my liking, but it was a cool concept overall. The last chapter was especially great- I wish we had a spin off manga following Chibiusa.

I like the fairy tale aspect that was especially strong in this story line.

- Sailor Pluto has darker skin in the manga, but when there is a picture of all the guardians, she looks the same as the others. What is up with that?

- Princess Serenity's birth celebration is just like that famous scene in Sleeping Beauty where Maleficent curses Aurora.

- This whole time I thought Luna was a boy and Artemis was a girl, but then they turned into humans, and I was wrong. Whoops!

- Is it done yet? I'm ready for the series to end.
