This collection has all the forbidden desires you could ask for. Among them is my brother’s best friend, age gap, and teacher/student. Great stories and I couldn’t ask for more.
It’s Always Been Us by Bre Rose
This one is a small taste of what will be a full book later in 2024. So warning, ends on quite a cliffhanger, but a good one. Amberlee for years crushed her on brother’s best friend, Jeremiah, till one night changed their lives and she gave up on that crush. For seven years, distancing herself till she is once again faced with the object of her crush. Will they find the opportunity to get another chance at love? I wanted to smack the FMC a few times because she just was so ‘dense’. HA
Sin Wagon by Cassie Lein
This one is a doozie age gap story. One night of passion leads to circumstances for the FMC she never expected. This one is another that ends in a 'cliffhanger' of sorts to be continued also in a full length book to come 2024. As much as I hated seeing what the FMC and MMC had to go through, misunderstandings, confusion, all leading to a moment that we could see coming and the fireworks it caused. I personally can't wait to read more of this story. Also, didn't like Claudia 0/10 recommend her as mom material.

This is a 2nd chance at a 1st chance between a best friend and a sister and just in the shortness story Amberlee and Jeremiah are going to be fire together. She's been attracted to him ever since her brother brought him home one day, but she knows he'll never see her anything other than his best friends kid sister. But what she doesn't know is that he's been attracted to her but she's to young like 6 years to young and plus she's his best friend sister and off limits, but what happens when thing's change in their life's and their given a 2nd chance 7 years later? Idk you'll just have to read it and find out. I know I cannot wait for the full story to come out.

Man, oh man, Amberlee and Jeremiah are gonna take the cake for me! I can't wait to get their full story!! Brother's best friend is one of my favorite troupes ! And I can already tell there will be so many twists and turns ! Bre sure knows how to suck you in and ruin you for sure!

Overall I enjoyed most of the stories. This book just showed me how much I truly enjoy the forbidden trope. One of the best thing about this is that I was introduced to a lot of new authors. Definitely had me stalking them to see when I can get more of their book.
If ur a fan of forbidden stories or even want to get into it I feel like this one is definitely one that should be read.

Review for Sin Wagon by Cassie Lein
This is a short and spicy age gap novella; it's only 9 chapters and it reminded me of a cold open the way it sets up the events for the upcoming full length novel next year.
We meet Delilah and Wells who share an instant attraction and a one night stand which leaves them both more. After a failed number exchange, (the lesson here is to always ring your own phone when swapping numbers!) they each go their own ways thinking the other has ditched them. Fate has other plans though and over the next few chapters we see their paths going forward to the inevitable reunion. Without spoiling it, I really enjoyed the last couple of chapters it totally gave me soap opera/telenovella vibes in a good way!
I liked what we saw of Wells and Delilah as well as Derek, and I am intrigued by Claudia's whole plotline (although I can't stand her); I will be there with popcorn for the next book!
My interpretation of the star system;
3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again
4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series
5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely and I have added all the authors works to my TBR! (less)

My review is for Sin Wagon by Cassie Lein. I really loved this age-gap, taboo-adjacent story. I love Delilah’s vibe and personality. Wells falls in lust-at-first-sight, and Delilah has a thing for Silver Foxes. They had one hot and steamy night together, then lost contact. Until they find each other again under surprising circumstances. I can't wait to read the rest of this story!
