This book was okay read and I hate cover of book. the atmosphere was pretty great also the ending was pretty good. The paced of plot was bit rush for my liking but I mix feeling the characters and I think the characters were flash out also the ending was fine.

Can't stomach colonizer fanfiction...
Meh. Some interesting bits but I didn’t appreciate the narrator’s personality very much.
Okay, I tried to get through this book, but I could not get past two individuals from Spain who travel to the Americas to make a new life for themselves. This takes place in the 1500s or 1600s or thereabouts. I give up on trying to read it!
Me gusta mucho como escribe Isabel Allende. No es complicado leerla, te engancha en la historia. Me gustó mucho la historia de la conquista de Chile y de los mapuches. No tenía ni idea de como había sido. Inés Suarez es todo un personaje. Pero me quedé asombrada de Lautaro.
Isabel Allende nuevamente me sorprende con esta obra tan bien documentada y narrada.
