Fantastic story!

Though I’ve really enjoyed all the books in this series, this story is definitely my favorite! The treasure hunt was interesting and entertaining, and laid out in a way that didn’t feel obvious or too much of a stretch. AND, though I had guessed who The Fox was, the ending still contained unexpected twists that surprised me! All in all, an awesome story that I’ll definitely read again!

Enemies to lovers romance! Cora, daughter of a Reaper, has a reputation as somewhat of a disaster in town. She always needs to be rescued from scrapes. Her father, who owns Insomnia, pays Grayson (yes, THAT Grayson who we’ve all been waiting to see find his wonderful happy ending after things didn’t turn out so well with a certain winter elf) to clean up some of her messes. So of course when Cora goes after an antique on display at a library exhibit that Grayson is supposed to be guarding, sparks fly. This was cute, cute, cute (more of a romantic suspense in feel than some of the other books--lots of fun) and I was so happy to see Grayson finally get his happy ending!

All of her life half-vampire, half-reaper Kora Dupree has had questions about the death of her mother. Now, a mysterious someone is offering to give her those answers -- if she steals half a locket and uses it to track down a hidden treasure. Vampire Greyson Garrett is working security for the locket's exhibit, but he can't help assisting his friend in such an important quest.

Between the Nocturne Falls and the Jayne Frost books, poor Greyson has been around for a while, and had his heart broken when his girlfriend left him for a necromancer. Now he's finally getting his happy ending. Kora has grown from the spoiled brat in The Reaper Rescues the Genie but she's still hung up on her mother's death, and for good reason. They're great characters on a noble quest with an unexpected ending. It's another wonderful novel in the Nocturne Falls series.

Great adventure!

What a great adventure, and a perfect installment in the Nocturne Falls series. Can't wait for another in the series!
