I enjoyed this SO MUCH. This is how I like my horror. You never quite know what's real. We've got an unreliable narrator, manipulative characters, blurred lines between reality, memory, and the paranormal. The ending is a punch to the guts.

I enjoyed this book for what it was but I wish it was scarier!

My favourite parts of this story were around the family dynamics and exploring why they invited a TV crew into their home when their daughter was suffering. I honestly found this more interesting than the horror aspects.

One thing I did hate was the insufferable blogger POV. Although the posts were making some good points, the extremely "quirky" narrative voice was so painful to listen to aloud on audio. The young sister POV was definitely the most interesting POV to read from.

Overall, I found it a bit slow and repetitive at times, but it had a good ending and it was a decent read for the spooky season.
