A fun little novel! 4/5

Set in the Wild West, Eugene and Chester escape from jail and go on a quest to find hidden gold buried beneath Dead God's Tower, obviously, things aren't allowed to go well for them and things escalate in ways they could never imagine.

It's a short, fast-paced story and Erica does a great job of creating some lovable characters (both good and bad). The action is brutal and graphic and it was simply just fun to get through to find out what was going to happen next to the escapees.

I can happily recommend this to fans of short, violent horror.

Bad God’s Tower by Erica Summers

When I saw the cover of this one I knew I had to read it! I love a good western horror. Erica packs a lot of punch in this little book. The language is descriptive in a way that paints a picture and submerges you in the story. It moves fast and wastes no time getting to the action.

Our MCs Eugene and Curtis are entertaining in their own unique way, and following them through their journey is entertaining and fun. Well, maybe not fun for them, but definitely fun for the reader!

It’s a super fast read / listen at just over an hour, and the narrator does a great job voicing the characters. If you’re looking for something different check this one out.
