here i was hoping for a well-seasoned, adam/ warner type love triangle but instead, all i'm getting a shiryaruki  being tossed around like she's a bag of chips 😭😭 i want a cat-fight damnit

Things are shifting at the palace of Wistal; Shirayuki and the aides moved into palace rooms, which has already caused some hilarious scenes. And finally,
Spoiler Shirayuki is being more public about her connection with Zen! Which is likely a setup for something dramatically disastrous, I'm sure.

I feel like a lot of this wasn't in the anime, I wish it was. The anime did trim some events that didn't directly involve or affect Zen and Shirayuki. It only got two seasons, and it mainly focused on our two adorable main characters.
I know this is a very straightforward romance, in a semi-fantastical setting. But with such loveable characters and a romance that is easy to root for because it's based on respect of each other's character first and foremost. I don't care that each volume isn't filled with excitement and adventure. I just want to see these two happy. I just hope it doesn't take too long to get there. I want to see them get married. There are another 13+ volumes that I have yet to read.

I feel like we actually got some great movement for Zen and Shirayuki to be together long term. I really liked everything about this volume, including the part that the anime had pulled forward to use. I like the placement of it better in the manga though.
