This book, while still about the same kids, was a little harder for my 14 year old brain to grasp because it was about drugs. I am more educated about the drugs talked about in this book now and so feel that if I were to read this back, it would be a good book with a good plot line and clearly a lot of research done.

You can tell that the author puts a lot of research in these books because you know I learned a bunch of stuff just from the mission briefing. It's also kind of scary and violent at times but I'm okay with that because DUH that's what spies DO. I also saw a few typos and was all like tsk-tsk but it didn't really affect the story in any way. It's quite funny as well and I really wish it were real. Except that might mean my new friend is secretly a spy who is trying to arrest my dad. Yeah. Every girl's dream.

James can be such a brat but at least he is a growing character, who learns from mistakes and has a heart in the right place. The mission in this book was related to drug problems and was interesting to read. Obviously it was a madeup story but it had some truth in it and that made it more interesting. Plus spies are soooo cool, even when they are only 12-13 years old :D
