I love Dotorow's work. I love his views on the world. I love the world that we could have if the vision Doctorow explores in this book could be a thing. The only reason I took half a star off is that he makes a lot of assumptions about what his readers know, and I think that reduces the accessibility of the work, and the ability of people to grab on and make it happen.
