When I first got into the story after reading the blurb, it really caught my attention and made me choose the audiobook for my next read. But as I listened on, the story ended up feeling quite boring and kinda predictable.

Usually, in murder mystery books, the main characters are these brilliant minds. However, that wasn't the case with this book. The main character wasn't the smartest, but she was okay and pretty admirable cuz she managed to unfold the mystery in the end.

I have to say, the writing style was pretty good, it kept me engaged. It had this way of making me curious to keep going with the audiobook, even if the suspense felt a bit lacking. Kara Thomas did make me question who the liar was in the story, and she had me suspecting pretty much everyone.

The book did throw in some twists toward the end, but I kinda saw them coming. Maybe for someone not steeped in mystery novels, those twists could be a real surprise.

Overall, the book was okay. The initial idea was brilliant, but it felt like the execution fell short a bit. Still, it's worth a read if you're looking for a different kind of experience!

A little slow at the beginning but once things started happening, it picked up. I wish the whodunnit reveal had a little more oomph but it wasn't the worst. And I wish we knew if the person would actually get charged with the all the things they needed to be charged with. I did enjoy the very last bit with Ginny, I wasn't expecting it. And I liked how Ethan's character turned out.
I wish we found out about what would happen with Tom and Mike knowing that Tom killed an innocent man. And like besides emotion clouding judgement, why he was so quick to kill an innocent man

This book was amazing! The first half of the book however, took me ages to get through, nearly 2 weeks, and I didn’t have much ambition to read it, however the second half took me two days to read.

A solid book, though I'm glad I didn't spend money on it.
The characters were a little bland and I constantly mixed up all of the girls for that reason.
The ending was a bit disappointing, I was hoping for a more interesting twist, some kind of scheme, not just
a coincidence that tied the deaths together.
Throughout the book I was constantly fearing that B & M would end up together, which, luckily they didn't, and it made sense for him to be the murderer. However, I still felt like the topic of him being a predator wasn't fleshed out with enough care, as it still ended up with Monica going "well...I used him, too, sooo..." No girl. You're 16. He's 27.
