Mal's Diary
4.5/5 stars

Well I'm already too far into my descendants obsession, so I already knew that I'd like this before reading it. It was a similar feeling to the spell book and of course since the diary belongs to Mal, there are all of these cool drawings. But it was basically just a run through of the same story, with more insight on how Mal saw everything.

I especially loved the parts that showed Mal and Ben still dating after the enchantment was gone. And of course anything that's in the kids point of view can get kind of depressing considering they all have abusive parents.

But honestly I'm just so far gone I could read ten more books in this world and still love it.
