Long but good thriller! This one is definitely dark, look up trigger warnings for sure. It gave off vibes like i was reading Karin slaughter, very different from her other novel I’ve read. Overall, i really enjoyed It and will read more of her work!

This book was so beyond fucked up, but also couldn’t put it down (literally went 4 stops too many on the subway cause I was engrossed in reading it). I have some questions about the timeline that I can’t wait to discuss at book club!

this was so close to getting a 4.5/5 stars but then the ending happened. There was a lot of elements that didn’t contribute anything to the story and the ending just didn’t work. I also felt like Shay got in and out of situations far too easy and she made some decisions that didn’t work for me. But I enjoyed the beginning and I was so intrigued the whole way through. Now I feel like I need to reread in my dreams I hold a knife.

I didn’t like the characters and the story was so overdone. I tried audio and physical and this book put me in the worst rut
