I really enjoyed this! The world building was super cool and the art was gorgeous. I can't wait to read more of the series!

“This is how an idea becomes real. But ideas are fragile things.“

Some of the most phenomenal character design I’ve ever come across. Instantly likable characters, incredible witty dialogue, and fascinating writing overall. I honestly can barely wrap my head around it.

And this is only volume one.

This is my third time reading this, and knowing how they ended volume 9 almost makes this one more emotional. There's a new issue coming out this week (yay!), so I'm re-reading to put it fresh in my mind for that new issue. Which I will definitely be reading as soon as I can!

Not only is the writing great in this, but the art is just beautiful as well. There's a reason this is so popular, even with people who don't necessarily read comics. It's easily accessible and the characters are so easy to fall in love with instantly. If it's one you haven't read, I highly recommend it!

Officially re-reading this because I felt like it was time! I just marvel at the world building in this series, and the complex characters put in dire situations. Everything about it just works so well together.

I went into these series not knowing if I was going to enjoy it (possibly a bit too dark for my taste), but looking quite good so far! There seems to be so much for each of the characters, and I'm keen to keep reading and seeing where the story goes :D

This was my first time reading a graphic novel, and it was certainly... graphic! Weird creatures, graphic deaths, sexual content and strong language mean this is definitely not something to leave lying around if you have kids in the house. I was saddened to see the unnecessary use of the R word, but otherwise this was a pretty fun read. It only took an hour or two to blast through it and I'm definitely curious to read more of the story.
