One wanted an HEA and one was scared to death of one

Poor Kelby Springfield, an elementary school teacher in the town of Endurance, was all out of love after being married for three years to her arrogant, controlling, thieving, cheating megalomaniac ex-husband Bradford Vance. after getting rid of him, she was not interested in Mr. Right, Mr. Tight, Mr. Kong, or Mr. Thong. It was not until her co-worker Xenobia Yardell signed her up on a dating app, N2U. Now she was trying to get rid of her date Gordie, and the only thing she could think of was to kiss one of her student's single fathers and claim him as her boyfriend. Hank Stewart who had, to no avail, tried to interest her in dating him was surprised by her normally reserved behavior. That one kiss started more than they could imagine. Hank's son Elliott wanting them to be more than kissing friends. He wanted a mother. He needed a mother and Hank needed a forever partner, something he did not get with Elliott mother, Jodi Ann.

That one kiss as witnessed by more than her impromptu date. Mayor Bradford Vance was determined to get Kelby back to mother his outside child Nicholas who deserved a loving mother and father and a family just as much as Elliott did but she could never see herself ever going back to Bradford, even after he made sure she was jobless. Not when she had Hank Stewart behind her and Elliott giving her all the love she could ever want or need. Bradford had already kicked her to the curve when she failed to produce an heir. Hank wanted her anyway. Now that he finally had Kelby, he was not turning her alose. The whole town of Endurance was supporting their relationship for an HEA.

Siera wrote a sweet easy read romance story showing a woman getting her life back after a tragic marriage and a man who never gave up on getting her attention because he knew that she was the one for he and his son.

Siera London is one of my favorite interracial romance authors, and this story is no exception. I loved the banter and chemistry between Hank, who is a single father and Kelby, a local schoolteacher who was scorned in her last relationship. Add in comments from Hank's son, and you have a funny and romantic read that you will really enjoy.
