The main character is so passive that the whole story becomes really annoying. The sur natural elements are so weird that even that does not really make the story interesting. Lots of plot points that sound interesting on paper but the execution is poor. The whole story feels very pointless and unnecessary. I kept reading hoping that it would start making sense, or that I would finally get it. I should have trusted myself as a reader and put it down from the beginning when I felt like it was not that deep, not that funny and not that interesting.

Upon finishing the book I must have spent about 20 minutes explaining to my actual bunny what I believed was the overall meaning of it.

She was as confused as I was, but we came to a conclusion : it was clever and mind-boggling.

there’s a reason it took me six months to finish this book. the first 80 or so pages are good but once the bunnies actually become involved in the plot everything goes down hill. samantha is an awful main character. she’s so annoying and lies and whines about everything. i wish i had dnfed.
