i hated emma, i get that she’s supposed to be a flawed character but she never took any accountability for her actions and i felt bad for charles
i get the whole bovarysm concept aka never being pleased with anything in life but she took this on another level and it all just frustrated me

Questo romanzo mi è piaciuto, ma con tantissimi contro.
Inizialmente non mi ha preso, l’ho trovato quasi noioso ma più mi addentravo nella storia, più ho iniziato ad apprezzala.
Emma è, a mio avviso, una bambina immatura che ha dell’amore una visione troppo romantica e questo l’ha portata alla sua stessa fine.

Nan franchement j’aime, c’est vraiment bon. L’histoire est simple à comprendre et puis c’est un classique. À la hauteur de mes attentes, on s’attache à Madame Bovary malgré toutes ses erreur ou son irrationalité.
