Just re-reading my 1994 AP English assigned book from Mr. Jones…
Ahhh Emma Bovary, you are quite the hussy. Always wanting more, and justifying the means to get it…until you cannot escape the hole you dug. You managed to ruin your life, your husband’s, and your 4 year old daughter’s life along the way too.
So pitiful.

Läste typ 50/50 franska-svenska. På originalspråket är den fantastiskt skriven och varje mening har en sorts svårförklarad harmoni som reflekteras på hela verket. Intrigen är något platt men hålls alltid spännande och driven. En hjärtskärande och mångfacetterad kärlekshistoria.
