One of the most interesting books I’ve read in my life! Such a beautiful tapestry of different sciences woven together to illustrate how lucky we are to be alive today and how fragile our current position in the universe really is. I wish our school science classes were as engaging!

I haven't enjoyed a book like i did this one for so long!!
So gratifying!
Bill Bryson not only educated me a lot, but did that in a very fun, witty, most-you-need-to-know manner.
I'm not entirely sure what his other books are about, but I'm sure going to give them a try.
