Atlas of the Heart

Brené Brown

Although Brown reuses some of her earlier content and anecdotes in this book, I think the exploration of all of emotions is critically important for the individual, the unit (be it coupledom or family), and cultures. I had many "aha" moments about things that I wish I would have recognized long ago. Like how closely related resentment and envy are or how blindfolded nostalgia can be. Interesting read.

Such a good book! So nice to finish reading this with my husband. Always keen to read this again as soon as I finish it.

I also really enjoyed the way Brene did this as an audiobook, it felt so personal. Like she was in the room with us.

PLEASE READ THIS BOOK - thanks x

I loved this book.

Brené makes the research meaningful and accessible for a variety of people. There are powerful messages that can help most connect with not only themselves but others too. The physical copy of this book has helpful images while the audio version uses repetition in a helpful way to emphasize concepts.

This book really helped me to reflect in a meaningful way.
