Absolutely loved this book! It really reframed how I my understanding of emotions, she does a wonderful job grouping and defining them in each chapter. Cannot recommend it enough, especially the audiobook version. Brené Brown is an excellent narrator.
informative

I have a super full page of notes on my notes app after reading this. So many great nuggets and one liners but also so many great big concepts and understandings. I learned a lot!! This is one I want to purchase and have on my shelves for future reference!! I can see myself pulling it out again and again.

This is a book one should read, and read again, and read one more time. Yet the second and third (and fourth and fifth and so on...) will not be the full text, but particular words within that you need to once again grapple with, better understand and reflect upon. For me, chapter 11 (more specifically pages 211 - 214, are ones I will look at again and again this year as GRATITUDE is my word this year.

A read worth reading, and re-reading as well as finding others by this author to read again and again as well.

The only problem with this book is now I feel obligated to share it with everyone I love.

It’s hard to put a rating on what feels like a reference book for emotions. This book helped me expand my vocabulary and thus better understand and communicate my feelings. This feels like a powerful skill to have, though I wouldn’t say this book was groundbreaking or engrossing.
